The Post Star carried a story which showed Whitehall ranked 379 out of 431 upstate school districts. They also ran a great editorial spotlighting how some school districts are excessively overcharging, in some cases illegally.

For those that may have missed it, the Post Star did an excellent expose this past weekend on local school districts that regularly overcharge the taxpayers and stick these overcharges in “reserve funds”.
